The Clock Tower
The Urhøjen is located approx. 100 m up our road. An evening walk up there is an absolute must. 55 meters above sea level, with a fantastic 360-degree view. The entire Great Belt with the bridge, Asnæs, Reersø, Tissø, Museholm and Funen. The Urhøjen is from the early Stone Age.
Birkegården's animals
The animal enclosure is connected to the Nature Playground, where children and adults can cuddle all the cute animals. There are donkeys, ponies, the fallow deer Bella and Jane, dwarf goats, Gotland sheep, many mohair goats, including the three kids Gimme, Mads and Mikkel, and the mini pigs Sille and Øffe. We also have two rabbit cages, with small soft rabbits – this tends to be the favorite place for small children. Follow the link to Birkegården’s gardens, a fantastic place.
Kragerup Go High
Kragerup Gods has built Denmark’s first activity course that goes from forest floor to treetop. Kragerup Go High has 75 different challenges spread over a 3.5 km long activity course that winds through a varied forest with proud beech trees and dark spruces. West Zealand Veteran Train
A trip with Vestsjællands Veterantog is like experiencing a train ride in the good old days. The veteran train looks like it was first built in the 1950s, but the carriages date back to the 1920s and the steam locomotive from 1899. You rumble along in one of the infamous shaking carriages, perhaps sitting on a hard wooden seat or even on one of the “comfortable” leather seats. Out the window you can see the beautiful West Zealand landscape disappearing past at the dizzying speed of 60 – 70 km/h.
Odsherred Zoo Odsherred Zoo
is located in northwest Zealand, in the middle of the most beautiful landscape. The park is an oasis of 14 square kilometers and invites you to spend many wonderful hours in the world of animals. Odsherred Zoo has 600 animals divided into 100 species. It is a mecca for children, they get close to the animals. All the guests we recommend to go to Odsherred Zoo are very enthusiastic.
Candy Land
Go to Bonbon Land and ride the carousel and ride a bike in seagulls and ride a roller coaster upside down and ride a roller coaster through water and sail and swing and fly and lots of other things that you will think are really fun.
Kalundborg and Surrounding Area Museum.
Go on an adventure hunt with Ester & Vester. At Kalundborg Museum you can meet Esbern Snare and his family. You can explore the remains of Esbern’s castle, visit the five-towered church and step into a time of battles for God.
In the adventure hunt with Ester & Vester, you will visit six places in the exhibition and in Højbyen. The six are part of the story of Esbern Snare and his family.
At each place you must solve a task and when you have solved all the tasks, you can get a prize. We have some very special collectible coins that are really good for playing Ester-or-Vester with.

Gerlev Play Park
Gerlev Play Park is a vibrant tourist attraction for those who enjoy playing and moving together in beautiful natural surroundings. As a visitor to Gerlev Play Park, you can challenge your family in everything from Viking Age strength games to board games from the old agricultural culture, as well as play some of the more than 50 games from all over Europe that can be found on the playground.
The sandbox is a huge “earth-is-toxic” course, where both young and old are challenged in terms of motor skills and balance. The area is cut through by a “river” that you can only cross if you dare to balance on the laid out tree trunks. Some get wet! Café Snurretoppen sells toys from when great-grandmother was a boy, light meals, coffee and cake and sweets. In the Café room you will find both pictures of children’s play from the Chronicles era and a large play picture by Breugel. Ask the staff if they would like to tell you about the games and the history of the games.
Fjord and Belt
Fjord & Bælt is an exciting experience center for both children and adults, and for those who want serious knowledge about the wonderful world beneath the surface of the sea. Experience Denmark’s only breeding whale and the dolphin’s relative: the porpoises Freja, Sif and Eigil. Fjord & Bælt is actually the only place in the world where you can get really close to the little whales. Not to mention the five playful seals that live in the pool right next to the whales. Sommerland Zealand Amusements
In Sommerland Zealand there are rides for the youngest and oldest in the family, and you will travel around in a time bubble of old classics spiced with innovation. With more than 60 festive rides, there is plenty to take off!
